Caroline Potter Shriver is an actor, dancer, and all-around theater maker based in Brooklyn. She graduated from Fordham University and The Ailey School with a BFA in Dance and Latin American Studies.

In 2021, Caroline co-founded The Village, a theatre collective that produces live works-in-progress events in NYC and LA. Under her leadership, The Village produced thirteen sold-out salons, welcoming over 100 artists and more than 1,300 audience members. The collective also served as the incubator for Caroline’s first solo work, The Stella Show, which premiered in 2023 during a residency at IRT Theatre (NYC).

Caroline now directs and choreographs for theatre, provides movement direction for film, and acts, dances, and performs across mediums. You can usually find her conspiring with friends on new plays, films, paintings, events—or any creative venture that might make audiences laugh, cry, or feel inspired to make their own art.
Right now she's especially obsessed with Every Brilliant Thing by Duncan Macmillan and would love to collaborate on a production. (Also - she would love to see a video of when it was done live in the round, if anyone has a bootleg copy).
