The Village 

The Village is an arts collective that serves to create spaces where artists and audiences can come together in celebration of community and the artistic process. My collaborators and I started The Village in 2021 with "The Salon," a gathering of friends, family, and artists in an apartment in NYC. We wanted to present the beginnings of The Stella Show and invite other artists to share their current works in progress. The energy was electric!

We continued to host salons from our friends apartment and later from gallery spaces and theatres in Manhattan and Brooklyn, workshopping new sections of The Stella Show, presenting new artists at each event, and watching our audience grow!

While I stepped away from my role as co-director of The Village in June of 2025, I am incredibly proud of the thirteen sold-out salons, two full play productions, the hundreds of artists, patrons that came to our events, and the amazing projects and collaborations that grew from our Salons.
